Longport, Where Modern Homes Live In Luxury
Our team of skilled carpenters have been handling construction and expansive home remodels in Longport since we got started 10 years ago, and what started as small bathroom remodels for the Longport community slowly turned to full second story additions, house raises, kitchen renovations and custom wet-bars.
Now there’s plenty of remodeling companies in Longport but what sets our team apart is the structure. We are a full design-build company, meaning our team has a in-house designer named Elise, the one who works directly with you to make sure your vision comes out the way you want. In addition to Elise, we have our Project manager, who keeps every project running smoothly, followed by our lead foreman, the one who works our the crew of carpenters or subs during your build. Our team handles it all, only using subs for other trades, so when we put our name on it, we know its been done right!
We make plenty of custom home dreams come trues in Longport but here are some of the most common projects we handle:
- Kitchen remodeling and design — Full kitchen teardown and rebuilds, whether its something where you need more space with open-concept kitchens or just want a totally new look!
- Bathroom remodeling and design — Full primary suite transformations, guest baths, and complete overhauls with luxury features.
- Custom decks and porches — Large, multiple story composite and wood deck builds, screened porches / sunrooms, and outdoor living spaces
- Home additions and extensions — Brand new living space fully framed, and finished by our team, from new rooms to entire wings or stories.
- Custom trim and built-ins — Our team loves to do custom work, so we do a lot of crown molding, wainscoting, wet/dry bars, accent walls, built-in shelving, millwork and more!
- Whole-home remodeling — By far the largest transformation, an entire home remodel, where its phased or full-scale renovations from top to bottom.
Each of these services is available as a standalone project or as part of a larger renovation plan.

Why Homeowners Trust Our Dream Team With Their Coastal Projects
A lot of the Longport homes we work on are second homes, which means our clients are often approving decisions from an hour or more away, not from the driveway. That changes what matters in a contractor and it’s why the thing our reviews repeat most isn’t the finish work, it’s the communication: a 4.9-star average across 60+ Google reviews that keep coming back to honest updates, the owner on the job, and a finished result that matches what was promised.
The fundamentals are covered too and every project runs under NJ Home Improvement Contractor License #13VH11446200, also holding an A+ rating with the BBB.
Ultimately, my wife Elise and I started NJ Dream Builders in 2016 to put a designer’s eye and a builder’s hands under one company, one team and one point of contact from design through final trim. And since we’re based in Ocean City, directly across the inlet from Longport, we’re nearby for every walkthrough, delivery, and punch-list item, whether you’re at the house that week or not. We hope to work on your project soon!
