The NJ Dream Builders team is made up of talented, dedicated carpenters and home remodeling specialists who are New Jersey born and bred. Our crew takes pride in delivering craftsmanship that stands apart, paired with a level of customer service that makes the entire renovation experience genuinely positive for our clients.

NJ Dream Builders was founded over ten years ago by Michel Waters, whose background in fine dining taught him discipline, precision, and an uncompromising attention to detail. While his career began in professional kitchens, Michel quickly discovered that his true passion was working with his hands—trading a chef’s knife for a hammer and bringing the same level of care and artistry into home remodeling.

Michel Waters is a builder driven by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the process of creating something meaningful from the ground up. Long before entering the construction world full-time, Michel built a diverse background as an accomplished chef, artist, adventurer, and certified emergency technician. His years in the culinary industry taught him discipline, precision, and the importance of mastering the smallest details—lessons that would later shape his approach to building homes.

While exploring cultures and cuisines around the world, Michel developed a growing passion for carpentry, initially as a creative outlet outside the demanding pace of professional kitchens. Over time, that passion evolved into a calling. Seeking a more tangible, lasting way to build, he transitioned into construction and began working alongside highly skilled custom home builders. Through years of hands-on apprenticeship, Michel immersed himself in every phase of the home remodeling process, learning the structural, design, and logistical elements that separate average work from exceptional craftsmanship.

Those experiences ultimately led Michel to found NJ Dream Builders, a company built around the principles he felt were missing in the industry—honest communication, attention to detail, and genuine respect for the homeowner’s vision. Under his leadership, NJ Dream Builders grew into one of the top-rated home remodeling companies in South Jersey, known for quality work and a seamless client experience.

After mastering the ins and outs of home remodeling, Michel took the next natural step in his journey by founding Dream Builder Custom Properties, a company specializing in custom home builds in and around Ocean City, New Jersey. Bringing the same trusted crew that helped establish NJ Dream Builders’ reputation, Dream Builder Custom Properties focuses on thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes built to stand the test of time.

At the core of everything Michel does is a simple belief: every homeowner deserves a space that reflects their vision, lifestyle, and dreams. The company motto, “You dream it. We build it,” is more than a slogan—it’s a personal philosophy that guides Michel’s work and his mission to help others bring their dreams to life, alongside his own.

Elise Waters is an interior designer with a lifelong passion for style and thoughtful design. Raised in suburban Philadelphia, Elise cultivated an early appreciation for aesthetics that led her to study fashion and marketing in college. Her career began in the fashion industry, where she worked with major retailers including Bloomingdale’s and BCBG Max Azria, sharpening her eye for color, composition, and trend-forward design.

Elise’s background in fashion naturally evolved into a love for home design and décor, where her ability to blend style with functionality truly shines. As a key member of the NJ Dream Builders team, Elise serves as the lead creative force, guiding homeowners through a streamlined and stress-free design experience.

Known for making the design process effortless, Elise begins every project by meeting closely with clients to fully understand and “dial in” their vision. Rather than overwhelming homeowners with endless options, she personally visits vendors to curate a concise selection of the top three choices that align with each client’s style, needs, and budget. Once the concept is finalized, Elise develops a detailed design schedule—covering everything from paint selections to trim and finish details.

After client approval, Elise ensures a seamless transition to the Project Manager, collaborating closely to guarantee that every detail is executed precisely as envisioned. Her organized approach, creative expertise, and client-focused philosophy allow her to transform ideas into beautifully realized spaces.

Dylan FaracchioConstruction Superintendent

I am a construction superintendent with a strong work ethic shaped by growing up in a large Italian family where pride, dedication, and relationships matter. I bring that same passion into my work, taking great pride in building quality projects and maintaining strong, honest relationships with every customer. Having played sports my entire life, I am highly competitive and driven, always pushing myself and my teams to perform at the highest level. Outside of work, my fiancé and my dog are a constant source of joy and support, encouraging my commitment to both my craft and personal growth.

Tricia MorganOperations Manager

I am proud to serve as the Operations Manager for NJ Dream Builders at the Jersey Shore, where I help turn clients’ ideas into reality from the very first stages of planning. Since joining NJ Dream Builders in June 2024, I have been fortunate to combine my lifelong passion for building with my experience in construction, technology, and client services to guide projects from concept through completion.
